New X Men Movie
Comic book enthusiasts and the average moviegoer have been stirred by the newly released X Men: The Last Stand . While many X-Men comic fanatics found some dislike in the film, someone who is just out looking for a good way to spend two hours can find some serious entertainment value in this trilogy-ending film.
X-Men: The Last Stand picks up exactly where the last film left off. Jean Gray (Famke Janssen) is dead following a confrontation in a remote military base. This leaves Cyclops (James Marsden) distraught and unsure if he can continue leading the team of mutants.Hugh Jackman as Wolverine has delivered a performance well worthy of the series he helped form. Also returning are Patrick Stewart as Professor X and Ian McKellen as the anti-hero Magneto. New characters like the heroes Angel and the Beast are introduced. Kelsey Grammar has delivered a stellar performance as the Beast.
The main plot of the film is the development of a new drug that ‘cures’ mutants, causing them to lose all their mutant abilities and turning them into normal humans. While this is a good news for some mutants, such as the young Rogue, others led by Magneto feel that there is no need for a cure, and that they, in fact, are the cure for humanity. This ignites a war over the philosophy of whether or not the drug should be an option for mutants. Action-packed, the film weighs in at under 2 hours. You are barraged by scene-after-scene of high intensity. McKellan’s performance as Magneto is impressive, showing that Magneto’s ideals truly do have some consideration underneath them. The movie is as close to perfect as you can hope for from a series that only seems to get better each and every film even though the movie is not perfect. -
The Finale of LOST Season
I admit, the second season`s finale of LOST was amazing. I was a bit disappointed from the last episodes but this one absolutely turned my interest back. Finally, something really important happened and we found out some of the Island`s secrets and as it seems – we`ll continue to figure them out in the next season. There`s obviously no sickness on the Island and maybe the sign “quarantine” on the doors just have to keep the people in the hatches so that they continue to do their job about the experiment of Dharma Project. That doesn`t explain why Russo has killed her friends, thinking they were “sick”, but probably she just got crazy (which actually doesn`t seem very likely) or maybe there is something more that we still don`t know.Michael seems to be one of the most stupid characters but I don`t think that this is the end of his appearance. Walt has some paranormal abilities that have to be shown. I think that Michael and Walt either will decide to come back (because of Michael`s consciousness) or won`t be able to find the way and finally the ocean will bring them back to the Island.
About the Others, I don`t think they will hurt Kate, Jack and Sawyer. They will probably use them for their experiments or try to make them a part of their group. Which is more interesting for me is why do the Others hide their identity? Who are they hiding from?! That`s something that I really can`t wait to find out. -
know about Serious Sam
If you are a First Person Shooter fan and for a change you want to go for a FPS game with a dose of humor then Serious Sam is the proper game for you. Ever heard of a bomb with a cocky snigger??? That is the trademark symbol which is associated with Sam. Serious Sam is an homage to another FPS legendary character, Duke Nukem. Sam “Serious” Stone is the only person in the universe who is capable of defeating the extraterrestrial dictator by name Mental. However Mental’s forces have almost overtaken Earth and Earths intelligent forces suggest Sam to travel via a time machine to the past and defeat Menta once and for all.His only assistance is in the form of an Artificial Intelligence called NETRICSA (NEuro-TRonically Implanted Combat Situation Analyser), which is surgically inplanted in his head. NETRICSA provides valuable information regarding the missions which Sam has to face. Sam has to blaze through huge levels and fight large amounts of enemies at a given time. Aiding him are many weapons like the Rocket Launcher, the powerful Mini-Gun, Grenade Launcher and the mega powerful Serious Bomb. He has to face different types of enemies like the skeletal Kleers, non stop yelling suicide bombers called Kamikazes, four armed villainous reptiles, beautiful Harpies and lots more… During his mission there is also some funny encounters with a one eyed thing called Gnaar who provides comic relief. Most of the levels have secrets and the sense of humor is maintained throughout the game. However the action adrenaline is amazingly high at all times. Sam blazes through ancient Egypt, Mayan civilization, Mesopotamia and medieval Europe before gaining a starship to confront Mental in the stars. This takes place in Serious Sam: The First and Second Encounter respectively. In Serious Sam 2, Sam must take advice of Sirian Aliens on how to defeat Mental. However Mental escapes. The forthcoming game Serious Sam 3 might hopefully conclude Sam’s mission and show the long awaited final encounter between Sam and his (father??!!!) Mental!!!

The courageous one
Following in the footsteps of the Death Wish movies and this year’s earlier Death Sentence, Neil Jordan’s The Brave One tries with every bit of skill and talent it’s got to bring more complexity to the themes of vigilance and revenge. Instead of merely attempting to make the viewers complicit in the enjoyment of watching the wronged protagonists stepping outside the legal system and taking matters into their own hands, it uses a great actress like Jodie Foster to see the conflicted emotions such actions can yield. Ultimately, however, even this story loses its worth as it cowers from examining the real social consequences involved.
Like the first Death Wish, the movie sets itself in New York City where we meet radio personality Erica Bain (Jodie Foster) who happily lives with her fianc -

If you speak of DC comics, the super heroes who would come first to your mind are surely Superman and Batman. Batman however has a slightly higher popularity compared to the Man of Steel. The Dark Knight as he is known the Caped Crusader strikes fear into the hearts of all the criminals in Gotham city at night. Beginning his life as Bruce Wayne, his parents were killed right before his eyes by a petty criminal. From that time onwards, the mind of the young Bruce Wayne was darkened forever. Vowing to cleanse Gotham of all the corruption, Bruce travelled throughout the world studying all related to detective work and martial arts.Seeing that most of the criminals were a superstitious, cowardly lot Bruce donned a bat like suit to become more intimating and frightening to the criminals. The reason behind wearing a bat like suit is the result of his encounter with the flying rodent once in the past. Lacking super human powers Batman makes use of his intelligence, fighting techniques, his utility belt and various gadgets to fight crime. He has allies in the form of Nightwing, Robin, Bat Girl, Huntress,Azrael, Commissioner Gordon and Oracle. His rogue’s gallery is one of the most popular in the comics world. details about Robocop
First appearing in the 1987 movie under the same name, the titular character is a crime fighting cyborg. Originally a sincere and devout police officer, Alex Murphy was slaughtered beyond recognition during a raid on a crime gang. He was shot repeatedly with shotguns and was executed by a gun shot to his head. After his funeral, whatever remains of his brain and his face is removed from his corpse and is used by the corporation, Omni Consumer Products to create a law enforcing, part man, part machine to take care of the violent crimes prevalent in the city of Detroit. The reason why Murphy was selected for the Robocop Program was that he was fiercely sincere to his duty and that he had a top psychological positive profile while compared to many of his fellow police officers. He was able to survive and adapt to his new state of existence due to the above reasons and also due to the fact he rejected suicide being an Irish Catholic. His body is largely mechanical and electronic. His armored body is composed of some sort of Titanium bond Kevlar which makes him resilient to bullets and bombs. He can even survive falls from large heights with such powerful armor. He also has a thermal vision mode and a zooming capacity for accurate aiming and tracking. He has 4 directives which he has to follow. All the directives are pre programmed. The directives make sure that he follows the law as an police officer. However the 4th directive is a classified one and Robocop is unaware of it until the situation corresponding to the directive takes place. The directive makes sure that he does not take action against any OCP executive. This part played an important role in the first movie. His signature weapon is the Auto-9 – a 9mm Handgun stored in a mechanical holster in his leg. Despite being largely machine, Robocop retains memories of his past life as Alex Murphy and even considers himself still human, refering his name to others as Murphy. The cyborg later on appeared in two movie sequels (1990 and 1993 respectively), an animated series, television series and even in comic books ever to ‘Serve the Justice’, to ‘Protect the Innocent’ and to ‘Uphold the Law’.

World Popular Predator
These extraterrestrial game hunters made famous by the Predator movies are also known as Yautja. Standing more than seven feet tall and armed with an arsenal of sophisticated weaponry, these predators fight with a code of honor. They attack only life forms which are well armed for offense. Their trademark weapon is the wristblade which is capable of slicing through almost anything. Also another signature weapon which they have is the Plasmacaster. This caster emits an energy bolt capable of cauterizing any flesh and destroying any hard object. This is mounted on its shoulder and the plasma bolt is guided by an auto aiming function present in the predator’s helmet. It also uses a netgun to trap its prey with a powerful flesh slicing net. For close range attacks the Predators use the spear like combi stick. Also present is the boomerang like smart disc which returns to the Predator after it has struck its target. However the greatest weapon of the Predator lies in its ability to bend light via means of a clocking device. This renders the stealthy predator almost invisible in its surrounding. Its helmet contains various vision modes for the Predator to see. In case of injury the Predator has a medikit device to heal itself. Also if a Predator itself is defeated in a fight it commits suicide by setting of a destructive bomb attached to its hand. When unmasked it is seen that they have hairy appendages and mandible like fangs. Their physical strength is also more powerful than humans and the xenomorph aliens.
